The silver ring by ZARZNG features the first sentence written after the creation of the Armenian alphabet, written by Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD:

“Recognize wisdom and instruction; understand the words of genius.”

Our letters have endured many dark times, yet they have been preserved for centuries. Let us continue to preserve them: speak Armenian, write in Armenian, read Armenian, and teach Armenian.

Mesrop Mashtots created the Armenian script to unite the Armenian people. Let us remain united.
